The NEW Scrubba wash bag Untouched is an undyed and unbleached version of  the original Scrubba wash bag that has provided a convenient way for over 300,000 travellers and campers to pack less and clean their clothes anywhere for an even cleaner future.

This convenient, pocket-sized travel companion allows you to travel lighter and helps you save money, time and water. Weighing around 150g (5.3 oz.) the Scrubba Wash Bag is a modern take on the old fashioned washboard. It is twice as effective as hand washing* and a lot more hygienic that a dirty hotel sink.

How is the Scrubba wash bag Untouched even more eco-friendly?

The Scrubba wash bag Untouched is made from nylon fabric that hasn't been bleached or dyed. The reason for avoiding bleach and dyes is to reduce the amount of water used during production, reduce the amount of waste water treatment required and reduce the energy input required. That is, we are lowering the carbon and environmental impact of the Scrubba wash bag's production.

With a Scrubba Wash Bag you can:
  • Wash clothes wherever and whenever you want.
  • Effectively clean your clothes with the help of hundreds of internal Scrubba™ ‘nobules’.
  • Pack fewer clothes and travel with a lighter backpack, bag or suitcase
  • Achieve a machine quality wash in 6 easy steps.
  • Alleviate the need to ineffectively wash clothes in dirty hotel sinks.
  • Avoid excess airline baggage fees by packing fewer clothes.

For what it is, not really worth the price.

Good bag for travel

We used it on a recent trip to Europe. It held a reasonable amount of clothing and got them pretty clean. Probably tried to wash too much, but it was efficient.
Still had the issues of getting things to dry and space enough to hang them.

Love it, bought the kit

I have the old squeeze valve version, I bought in December 2016. I purchased it at a discount because the new turn valve version was being released. The squeeze valve on my old version is starting to stick and getting hard to open the valve after 3 years of use, about 4 times a year for travel. So I had been looking for a good price on an updated version when I saw this one on indiegogo being offered cheaper. Since I purchased this through indiegogo at a discount I decided to purchase the kit. I am loving the updated twist valve which allows for quicker and easier deflating and the extra strip at the top of the bag to give more structure when folding down. Same great functionality. Even though at $55 it's a little pricey but it has more than made up for the cost. Having the ability to wash clothes when traveling in foreign countries and travel with just a carry on suitcase so I don't have to worry about lost luggage while flying, makes the cost worth it. I have even recommended it to friends and coworkers. The only thing is although I recommend the wash bag at $55 I'd save the extra $44 and not buy the kit. I'd get the same style clothes line elsewhere for about $6 and a microfiber towel for around $8, to go with the wash bag.

I've read what others have said about just buying a dry bag and using a spiky ball for agitation, but I don't recommend it. The balls move around or get hung in one specific piece of clothing, where it doesn't help with agitation to the entire load. The scrubba has a stationary wash board, allowing all of your clothes to benefit from a good scrubbing. It even worked on my muddy work uniform.

I also have to give thanks to the scrubba team. My first order was lost in shipment and they sent me a replacement. It took about 2 months to receive my order (1 month per shipment) coming from china and having to be inspected by Customs. Luckily I didn't have any trips planned so I was okay with the delay.
